Want to help in the community? Winona needs volunteers.

Want to make a difference in the life of a child right here in Loveland? Become a volunteer at Winona Elementary School!  The need is great.  Did you know that Winona has just over 500 volunteer hours clocked since the beginning of this school year?  To put that into perspective - Centennial Elementary, another local school with a similar number of students enrolled, will have about 4000 hours clocked by the end of this school year.  Winona will do well to hit 1000 hours.  That means Winona is functioning at one quarter of the support of Centennial.  That’s heartbreaking.  Loveland can do better than that.

Come play a role in supporting the kids and staff at Winona Elementary, so that they have every resource they need to succeed.  It doesn’t have to be much – 1 hour a week can be life changing.  Can you read with a child for 30 minutes a week?  Will you aid during lunch recess once a week?  Every other week?  If you are interested in joining the effort, click the button below and answer the questionnaire.  We look forward to making a difference at Winona Elementary with you!
